Mamas, there is nothing that squeezes my heart more than thinking about you all on Mother’s Day. It brings joy to my heart and tears to my eyes thinking about all the love and constant encouragement you pour out on your diverse need’s kiddos. Not just this one day, but every day, God sees you! He sees all of you and knows every bit of your heart. I believe in my heart of hearts that he catches every tear we shed.
Psalm 56:8 says, “You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.”
He carries us on exhausting nights.
He sees every big celebration we have for the little things our beautiful ones accomplish.
He sees all the tension in our marriage.
He sees every single mom, and He sees her loneliness.
He walks beside us when the mornings start hard and gives us strength for each step throughout the day.
He sees us balancing things for other siblings so that they thrive.
He sees you researching special diets, buying expensive supplements, and endlessly driving to therapies.
He sees you constantly putting yourself last so that your babes can feel loved and receive what they need.
He sees you break down in tears in your bedroom because this walk is hard and sometimes unfair.
He sees you.
He trusts YOU.
He chose well.
No matter how many mistakes have been made, nothing tops the pure love you have guided your children with. You are champions…not because you get it right, but because you show up.
All of you mamas reading this…YOU are my true heroes! You possess a love that is rare and fierce. On this special Sunday, and every day throughout the year…I am honored to walk with you on this journey! You inspire me…you teach me…you see me.
